Production Associate
MWEB is a proud non-profit associate agency in the U.S. AbilityOne Program. It all starts in production. MWEB is the United States Government’s source for folding tables and folding chairs! MWEB offers 50 different blow molded products all built at MWEB. As a Production Associate, you will be the initial step in delivering a great product to MWEB’s Federal Government customers. Each table produced is hand assembled and built within MWEB’s facility. MWEB procures Michigan materials to build a product not only “Made in America”, but made and built in Southwestern Michigan. By providing Production Associates with domestic, quality, material MWEB’s Production Associates have the opportunity to build a quality product for the United States Military and other government branches located around the world.
Accounting Specialist
MWEB is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Specialist to support daily accounting, payroll, and financial operations within a collaborative, mission-driven environment serving individuals who are blind or visually impaired.
This role is ideal for an organized professional who values accuracy, accountability, confidentiality, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Maintain vendor files, W-9s, financial records, and supporting documentation
Assist with reconciliations, deposits, cash tracking, and month-end reporting
Support payroll processing, employee payroll updates, deductions, and
recordkeeping
Assist with audit preparation and financial reporting requests
Recommend process improvements and support operational efficiencies
Collaborate with leadership on workflow consistency and administrative support.
Qualifications
Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of accounting, payroll, or related administrative experience required.
Experience in nonprofit, manufacturing, or mission-driven environments preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with professionalism.
Additional Information
This position requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Work environment is typically low-to-moderate noise level.
